Elastomers

Elastomers are materials characterized by high elasticity and the ability to deform and then return to their original shape. They are used for gaskets, extruded profiles, and technical components.
Commonly referred to as “rubber”, they can be compact or expanded depending on the application.
Main materials and uses:
- NBR (nitrile rubber) – excellent resistance to oils and fuels
- EPDM – ideal for outdoors, weather and ozone
- Silicone (VMQ) – high temperatures and food applications
- FKM (Viton) – high chemical and thermal resistance
- Neoprene (CR) – good mechanical resistance and external agents
